DeJa who?

I’m DeJa Clift! I’m a Black-Indigenous woman that uses exclamation points and the word bitch with reckless abandonment and I do not apologize for this ever! I am overzealous in fashion and in life and I love that for me! I embrace and accept all labels! Who am I to give mediocre when I am designed magnificently!? I am here, taking up space, and reclaiming my time.

I am a creative person, who loves to provide tips to all on fashion sustainability and styling garments living in larger bodies. I never hide my figure and wear no shapewear it’s just not my jam. My personal style is focused on dopamine dressing and my entire style IQ is maximalist. I enjoy all things fashion and always make trends my own. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and am mom to 3 gorgeous kids, 2 boys, aged 7 and 4, and a daughter who is equally obsessed with fashion and beauty aged 2.

You can catch me giving moms quick tips to look ravishing on the go and fun date night ideas as I always make it a point to date my husband with fun monthly outings (even if it’s just to our backyard!)
Fashion has been something I have been obsessed with from a young age I remember I roped my grandma into buying me these gold shiny pants in 2nd grade and everyone was like what is she doing!? I would be lying if I said I never had doubts about my fashion choices because I’m human. I can say now at 32 I’m 100% in the who gives a damn!? Life is short where the dress bitch! I don’t care if everyone else is in jeans and a t-shirt, be extra! You deserve it. You set the tone for social settings not the other way around. There is a running joke like “haha DeJa is going to come overdressed again” and I flip that and say everyone else just isn’t rising for the occasion. I know we heard back in school dress for the job you want and baby I’m a star, so I dress like it always
